The Peekaboo was created in 2009 by Silvia Venturini Fendi and is recognizable by the gesture that gives it its name: the bag opens to reveal a glimpse of the interior, like a game of peekaboo. The ISeeU is a variation with a turn-lock closure on both sides, while the Selleria version evokes the house’s artisan roots, dating back to its founding in Rome in 1925. Cuoio Romano leather is crafted with 306 large hand stitches, a saddler’s detail that defines the edges and showcases the craftsmanship. In the petit size, in a mercury-blue shade that is now discontinued, with a silver Selleria plaque and palladium-tone hardware, it can be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody.
