Terms and Conditions – Sale of Handbags and Accessories to Aurea Luxury Lab

Aurea Luxury Lab offers private clients the opportunity to sell their luxury items through a secure, transparent, and professional process that guarantees authenticity and protection for both parties. This program is called "Aurea Rebag." 

1. Who can sell to Aurea

This service is reserved for private clients aged 18 or over, residing in Italy or abroad, who intend to offer authentic handbags and accessories from selected luxury brands. Aurea reserves the right to refuse items that do not meet its quality, authenticity, or condition standards.

2. How it works

To offer an item, you must exclusively fill out the dedicated form in the "Sell" section of the website, indicating the brand, model, condition, accessories, and uploading clear and detailed photos. The client can suggest a price, while Aurea will provide a market valuation and the net amount they will receive once the consignment sale is completed, or in the case of a direct sale, once the item has been received and verified (depending on the period, the verification process can take up to 5 business days).

3. Shipping the item to Aurea

Once the proposal is accepted, the client will receive a prepaid shipping label via a tracked courier or can deliver the item in person to the Modena showroom by appointment. All items must be securely packaged, as we are not responsible for any damage or harm to the item due to fragile packaging. 

4. Verification and authentication

Upon receipt, each item undergoes physical verification, certified authentication via the Entrupy system, and quality control. Only products that comply with the description and are authentic are accepted for sale. Otherwise, they will be returned to the client at their expense.

5. Publication and sale

After verification, the item is put up for sale on Aurea Luxury Lab and promoted through our channels. The negotiation and management of final clients are entirely handled by Aurea.

6. Payment

Payment to the client will only be made after the actual sale, receipt of payment from the buyer, and the closing of the return period. The client will receive the agreed net amount via bank transfer or PayPal (the account holder must match the seller). In the case of a direct sale, specified at the time of acceptance 

7. Withdrawal of the item

The client can request the return of their item at any time within 120 days of validation. Return shipping costs are borne by the client, who must provide a prepaid courier label and arrange for pickup. The consignment contract is monthly and automatically renewable; all details will be specified in the contract, as these are specific agreements for each transaction.

8. Seller's responsibility

The seller guarantees that the item is their legitimate property, is not subject to theft or legal restrictions, and is original and authentic. In the event of false or misleading declarations, Aurea reserves the right to terminate the collaboration and report the matter to the competent authorities.

9. Documentation

For final validation, it is necessary to attach a copy of a valid identification document, tax code, and, if available, the purchase receipt or invoice, to the sales form.

10. Trade-in (Aurea ReBag)

In some cases, as an alternative to direct sale or consignment, Aurea Luxury Lab may offer a trade-in for the item provided. In this case, the appraised value of the handbag will be used as a down payment for the purchase of another item on the website. The trade-in does not involve any cash refund: the recognized value can only be spent in-store or on aurealuxurylab.com. In the event of a return of an item purchased through a trade-in, the value of the provided handbag will be returned in the form of a store credit valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
