The Baguette was created in 1997 by Silvia Venturini Fendi and takes its name from the way it is carried snugly under the arm, like French bread. It is considered the first it-bag in fashion history. The Selleria line, meanwhile, calls to mind the house’s artisanal origins. Founded in Rome in 1925, the maison is known for its Cuoio Romano leather and stitching inspired by traditional saddlery. In this petrol-blue version, a deep shade between blue and green, the matching handle and shoulder strap keep the look compact and monochromatic. It can be carried on the shoulder or crossbody, and its color makes it an elegant, less predictable alternative to black.
