The Book Tote debuted in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection for Dior and immediately became one of the maison’s most recognizable bags: an open rectangular canvas tote, fully embroidered and free of closures or superfluous embellishments. The Dior Oblique motif, created by Marc Bohan in the late 1960s, covers its surface in dense embroidery, here in shades of blue. The mini size retains the structure and matching canvas handles of the larger model, but in a scale designed to be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder with the removable strap. The embroidered Dior logo on the front completes this lightweight piece, designed for daytime.
