The Speedy was created in the 1930s as a travel bag for people on the move by train, and since then it has become the most imitated shape in luxury leather goods. The 35 is the most spacious size in the classic family: it fits a tablet, a wallet, and everything else without ever looking bulky. This is the original version with two handles and no shoulder strap, while today Louis Vuitton only offers the Bandoulière in its collection. On this example, the vachetta leather has remained exceptionally light, practically without a patina: a condition that is hard to find on a model that tends to darken irreversibly over the years.
