Alma was created in 1934 from a design by Gaston-Louis Vuitton and is one of the few bags recognizable by its silhouette even before its logo: the structured dome, the two zippers running along the profile, and the feet that keep it raised. This is the limited-edition Sky from Spring/Summer 2024, purchased at the Louis Vuitton boutique in Dubai: pastel blue Monogram Vernis leather, a color produced in very limited quantities and already discontinued, whose glossy finish changes intensity with every shift of light. In the BB size, it remains a small, easy-to-carry bag, to be held by hand like a jewel or worn with the Shoulder strap, and it is the kind of piece Vuitton collectors search for years without finding.
