Aurea Luxury Lab purchases pre-owned luxury bags and accessories from private individuals and professionals. If you'd like to give new life to a bag you no longer use, we can evaluate and purchase it quickly, safely, and transparently.

Minimum item requirements
- 100% original products;
- Good to excellent condition (signs of normal use are acceptable, but no serious structural damage);
- Preferably complete with dust bag, box, card, receipts or purchase invoices, if available;
- Bags, small leather goods and accessories consistent with Aurea's luxury positioning.
How selling your bag works
1. Sending information and photos
Submit a request for evaluation including:
- Brand and model (e.g. Chanel Classic Flap, Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM, Hermès Birkin 30, etc.);
- Material and color;
- Approximate year of purchase;
- Equipment (dust bag, card, receipt invoice, box, etc.);
- Clear photos of the bag (front, back, sides, inside, corners, handles, bottom, any defects, serial number or hologram if present).

2. First indicative assessment
After analyzing the photos and data received, we will send you an indicative evaluation based on:
- State of conservation;
- Market demand for that brand and model;
- Full or partial equipment;
- Price trends in the pre-owned segment.
This is a preliminary estimate, subject to confirmation after physical verification and laboratory authentication.
3. Shipping the bag to Aurea Luxury Lab
If you accept the indicative valuation, we will send you instructions for shipping the bag to our headquarters in Modena:

We recommend using a reliable courier with tracked shipping and appropriate packaging. Based on current agreements and policies, we will be able to advise you on the safest shipping methods.
4. Authentication, quality control and final offer
Once you receive the bag:
- It is authenticated by our laboratory, also using AI technologies when possible;
- The actual state of conservation and consistency with the information sent are verified;
- We will send you the final offer, which may be the same or different from the initial estimate based on physical inspection.
5. Payment
If you accept the final offer, we will proceed with the payment according to the agreed methods (e.g. bank transfer or other solutions that may be envisaged).
In some cases, it may be possible to request payment in the form of credit to be used on our e-commerce site. If interested, you can request it at the time of negotiation, if provided for by our conditions.
Authenticity of items sold at Aurea
What happens if the bag is not authentic?
We only accept original items. If you have any doubts about the authenticity or if the bag appears to be non-compliant, We will not proceed with the purchase. In this case, we will inform you and arrange for the return of the item, according to the methods communicated at the time of evaluation.

Yes, the request for an initial evaluation via photo is without obligation. The offer becomes binding only after physical verification, authentication, and your acceptance of the final offer.
How long does it take to get a response?
Response times may vary depending on the volume of requests, but we try to provide an initial assessment indicative within a few working days from receipt of photos and complete information.
Can I bring the bag directly to the showroom?
