L'Explorer II was introduced in 1971 for cavers and polar explorers, and its orange 24-hour hand paired with the fixed graduated bezel allows the wearer to distinguish day from night and track a second time zone. In reference 16570, the white dial has earned a nickname of its own, Polar, perfectly in keeping with the model's spirit: the black-outlined markers and hands stand out against the light background, and the orange hand takes center stage even more. The 40 mm steel case, with sapphire crystal and Cyclops lens, houses an in-house automatic chronometer-certified movement. L'exemplar, dating from 2008, belongs to the final years of the reference's production, is in good condition, and comes complete with its original box and guarantee.
