The Aphrodite Large is the bag with which Gucci won over the contemporary woman who doesn't like to flaunt her luxury: presented in the Cosmogonie Resort 2023 collection, the Aphrodite was created as a reinterpretation of an archival silhouette from the 1970s — a soft, crescent-shaped hobo with a golden GG plaque as the only visible identifying element. Made of black calfskin leather, the bag features two short, flat adjustable handles and a removable shoulder strap that allows it to be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or cross-body. The closure is a hidden magnetic snap. The interior is fully lined with a zip pocket. Dimensions: 45 × 29 × 2 cm — the ultra-flat silhouette is the most striking detail: spacious despite its minimal thickness, it is carried flat against the body for a very elegant effect.
