The College is one of bags Saint Laurent's most recognizable designs: a structured envelope bag with chevron stitching and the metal Cassandre monogram on the flap, inspired by student satchels. In this version, black velvet replaces leather, making the surface soft and rich, with a more evening-ready effect. The gold chain with a leather shoulder pad lets you wear it over the shoulder, while the gold details brighten the black. It’s a bag that transitions from day to evening and adds character even to the simplest look. The velvet version is no longer in production.
