The nylon backpack is the piece with which Prada rewrote the rules of luxury in the 1980s: a technical, industrial material replacing leather, at a time when no fashion house would have dared. Today, that model returns in Re-Nylon, the regenerated yarn made by recycling plastics recovered from the oceans, with calfskin inserts recalling where it all began. This is the burnt orange and cerulean gray version, a warm and anything-but-obvious combination for an accessory usually bought in black. It is a backpack made for everyday use, but with the enameled triangle that makes it instantly recognizable.
