The Diana Bamboo Large is one of the most successful comebacks from the Gucci archive: a model born in 1991, renamed in honor of Princess Diana who frequently carried it, and reinterpreted in recent years with a new visual identity while keeping intact the detail that makes it immediately recognizable — the hand-carved bamboo handles, an element Gucci has used since 1947. This version is a limited runway edition: black embossed calfskin leather is overlaid with contrasting white and red stripes, a touch that clearly distinguishes it from the commercial version. Hard to find on the pre-owned market.
