The Aphrodite Large is the bag with which Gucci has won over the contemporary woman who does not like to shout her luxury: presented in the Cosmogonie Resort 2023 collection, the Aphrodite is born as a reinterpretation of a 1970s archive silhouette — a soft crescent-shaped hobo with the golden GG plaque as the only visible identifying element. Made of black calfskin leather, the bag features two short flat adjustable handles and a removable shoulder strap that allows it to be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody. The closure is a hidden magnet. The interior is fully lined with a zippered pocket. Dimensions: 45 × 29 × 2 cm — the ultra-flat silhouette is the most surprising detail: spacious despite the minimal thickness, it is worn flattened against the body with a very elegant effect.
