This is a maxi shopping bag in quilted checkered lambskin, carried over the shoulder like any tote, but there's nothing ordinary about it - the Cassandre logo on the front, the chain toggle closure, and that wonderfully soft leather that slumps when empty and fills up without losing its shape. Wear it open at the sides for maximum capacity or closed for a more compact silhouette: two different volumes in the same bag. In black, it's the timeless version and the one that resells best.
